So, I'm adding on to my house, and there is a breezeway connecting my bedroom to the rest of the existing structure. I'm
thinking on converting half the breezeway into a chameleon enclosure, with a casement window access to an outdoor cage. This way he could have indoor/outdoor access whenever he likes.
What are the most important considerations when creating a really large enclosure like that? My thoughts are to light and humidify indoors, and limit access on days when the weather isn't agreeable. The breezeway is set back far enough that there is no direct afternoon sun through the windows. The indoor section will be caged off so we don't step on him or anything. Is this reasonable and prudent?
Is regular patio screen sufficient or do I need to go with something tougher for the outdoor portions? Like ratwire?
What are the risks Im not thinking of that I need to mitigate?
