interesting safe plant question??

I recently got into the hobby and have two juvenile panthers that i keep in outdoor cages i made. I need to upgrade them to bigger enclosures soon and was thinking of putting them in this perfect "greenhouse" I have. Fully enclosed and its got a screen roof so plenty of unfiltered sunshine. The question i have is that the plants inside are cannabis sativa...yes cannabis sativa...so weeds actually. This is a serious question and for anyone who thinks i am up to no good it's grown legally. Are they safe weeds to keep chams in? They are rather large and look perfect for chameleon needs.

interesting question. i dont know if they'd be bad or not to be housed with, but if they're budding and the cham ate it there could be some reactions

no but seriously, i dont think it would be a good idea. just my opinion. It is very common for panthers to occasionally chomp on vines and or natural plant items and the resulting effects will impede their natural behavior or growth.... though they might have a hell of a time!!

Cannabis is poisonous to dogs and cats if eaten, I don't know the quantities they'd need to eat but it is a poisonous plant so-to-speak. I believe it would be harmful to the chameleons. Not to mention no one wants dead bugs and chameleon poop on their buds. I'd pass on the idea.

No, what if one attempted to rub it's eye on the plant. We get threads like this every few months, and the answer is always no.

lol that would be interesting to see a high chameleon, but fersure it wouldnt be good for it. i know my dog didnt look too enjoyable after he found my sisters edibles...

So.... when did the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT legalize the growing of MARIJUANA? Last time i checked the FEDs truimph State laws. You may think it is legal but it is just tolerated.....when the feds kick in your door dont cry well the state let me do it.......haha......it will happen.
