Intro to my little baby Hercules

I know nothing at all about it, but the skin over her eye is truly translucent and gives her little protection from bright light. I wonder if that has something to do with it - maybe it’s damaged her eye or it’s equivalent for her to be always staring into the sun. Like I said, I know nothing…just always trying to fit things together in my mind.

Update! 3/1/2023
Hercules had her second shed last week and is starting to gain some size.
Her eyesight is still very off as everything that approaches her, she is afraid of. This includes all size crickets, but she does eat since the crickets are gone and she is pooping too. Also, most chameleons attack the head first, she eats them backwards. I know, WEIRD. Yes, I prep each food item so she can chew and swallow without issues. I enjoy the challenge and continue to learn.

She has learned how to bask, and I now have almost no interaction with her except feeding, watering and distant observation. I think this is less stressful for her. (y) It is a big change from feeding 3 times a day to mostly observation.

Also, Smooth sided toads are growing well. :ROFLMAO:(y) Just wanted to share the White's Tree Frogs telling secrets. ha ha

@redhorse I’m not nearly caffeinated enough yet to think of the word, but you are just awesome the way you take care of these little ones with problems. Not only do they survive from your TLC, but they eventually thrive. I am impressed, amazed and just in awe of your devotion to these babies. 💗
All that and you have awesome froggies! 😂 Love your frogs!
