Is fluckers orange cube diet good

General consensus is no, it is not very good. Poor nutrition compared to some other options. There are some great gut loads from some of the site sponsors. Also, Repashy makes a good one.

If you are in the habit of purchasing a months worth of crickets and just want to keep them alive the orange cubes will do the trick. But I would still use a quality gut load (Repashy, cricket crack, etc...) A few days before feeding along with fresh fruits and veggies. In my experience it is easier and not a lot more expensive to just use the good stuff all the time, but I only keep a few weeks worth of crickets.

But would it help my cham get some vitamin a when i feed the cricket that ate the cube

It will probably provide some benefits but by itself isn't enough. I am not sure how well the crickets will transfer vitamin A in particular but if that is your specific concern use a multivitamin dust that has vitamin A once or twice a month.

Not an expert, but I use the orange cubes along with other little bits of fruit, vegetables, and greens found on any DIY cricket gutload list. But I also regularly supplement with calcium (a few times a week), D3 (about every 3 weeks), and multi vitamin (about every 2 weeks) by dusting the crickets and worms before I feed them to Iggy.

There is much better product than the Orange cube diet. I love the Repashy bug burger and superload in addition to collard greens, mustard greens, carrot and apple. I have also used kale. Again it's all going to depend how many crickets your housing. I get around 100 at a time and they eat well.
