Is Hot glue safe?

Hello

I was just wondering if it was okay to use hot glue to connect sticks to the aluminum mesh on my screen cage. If not any solutions otherwise?

Yes but hard to remove. I would use thumbtacks.

Ditto, hot glue is fine, but I think it won't be string enough for you for this use. Thumbtacks actually work really well.

I drill holes on either side of the dowel and then connect it with jewelry wire through the mesh of the cage.

Use wire so it will be easier to relocate or adjust them in the future.
