Alright so i had my veiled chameleon for about 4-5 months now and i never asked this question...Is it normal for a veiled chameleon to be a darker green in the day and a lighter green at night?

Lighter green means their more relaxed and ready for bedtime. If they are dark in the daytime that can be completely normal as they may be stressed or simply basking.

Yes, many species of cham wear much lighter brighter colors when asleep.
