Is my cham stretching ?

Ive noticed my cham does this thing where he stretches his neck up and his body and it seems to loosen his shed,, not sure if this is the purpose though ? he also does this about an hour after eating a hornworm if that has any relevancy. while doing this he never looks stressed and has bright green colors. does someone know exactly what he is doing ?

1. yes, I think he's just strecthing

I would say SHE is a female. Some females have small tarsal spurs. Tarsal spurs are not the only difference between male and female veiled chameleons.

the lines on his stomach turn brown when he is in his pjs. i thought he was a female for days and the more i watched him and his colors he had showed more male patterns. i am not disagreeing w you guys tho i will take more pictures

not sure if you can tell but his stripes are almost blue,, also has small brown markings that come out more when he is sleeping. i cldnt get a good pic of his hind legs cant get my phone at the angle he is at lol also his shed is ab to fall off

See the bands on this one? They are not distinct yet at this age, but this is what a young male should look like.

this has grown bigger on him/her since i got him. very confused bc this looks like a tarsal spur and is getting larger ???

Females can have tarsal spurs so I understand your confusion but based on other Characteristics you have a female.

her is my male, besides tarsal spurs you can see he has viable bars and his casques is a lot larger. The spikes on his neck are also much larger then a females neck spikes would be. Even tho this is not a Popular way to sex a veiled but you can also look at the base of the tail. The males would be much thicker then the females



My female has a much smaller casque then my male. Her neck spikes are a lot smaller and the base of her tail is thin. As you can see base on color she’s more of a solid green with spots and the blue lines.
