My female jackson cham eats maybe 8-12 large crickets every other day (I gut load them with turnip greens and I give calcium supplement 1 or 2 times a week and a multivitamin with D3 every 2 months). She poops normally and everything. I was just wondering if she eats enough. Also, I will be varying up her diet. I will start to give her different species of worms like earthworms, mealworms, superworms, and butterworms to vary up her diet so she isnt bored.

is she maintaining her weight? gaining?
body condition/weight and activity levels are good ways to judge if they are eating enough.
careful about the earthworms - can carry nasties/bacteria

ok. I so far have only fed crickets so I guess I will stay away from earthworms. She hasnt gained much weight, maybe a little. She has never lost weight though, she has stayed about the same and she is pretty active, so that is good. Maybe I could give her more fatty foods like waxworms.
