Is my female panther already with eggs?

Hi,

My panther female has recently changed into much darker colors with black rings and is eating less. She is about 8 months old. I have not yet introduced her to my male.

Can you tell from this picture if she is receptive or she is already carrying infertile eggs?

Is she under a heat lamp in that picture? Sometimes chameleons will expand themselves to get more heat. Normally, if a chameleon were to lay eggs, she would be more vibrant in color. If you haven't introduced her to your male, then the eggs won't be fertile. It is hard to tell if she is egg-bound because of the weird angle. Be sure to have an egg-laying bin on hand just in case!!

Hi,
Has she shown restless behavior lately? She’s receptive for sure, but I don’t if she’s already carrying eggs. Mostly the proces is divided in two periods with restless behavior and in between normal behavior. The first phase is in search for a male, second phase for a perfect laying spot.
One is clear a lay-bin is needed, and if not already, place one like yesterday.

Has she seen the male?
How far away is the male’s cage?
How much have you been feeding her per week in the last few weeks?
