Is my panther a male or female?

I have a young panther chameleon and I can’t tell if this is a male or female. Can someone help?

100% female without a doubt. She’s beautiful though. If I had to choose between keeping my male or female sometimes I think I’d choose the female.

I agree with @skoram, without a doubt female.

Did the breeder tell you it was male?

Male panther chameleons have a hemipenal bulge at the base of the tail. You can’t mistake it.

Oh I see. No I bought this one from a pet store. It was in there for awhile. I live in Alaska and I do not know any breeders here.

How did they even get a chameleon there? I would ask them if you’re truly interested in a male to go along with the female. Maybe there’s a breeder in Alaska or a place that can ship to you.

We have a Petco here. I will cal them tomorrow and try to return her for a male If they don’t have one then I just wait for them to get in. Maybe they ship through fed ex? Lol! Not sure but the glass terrariums work way better up here than the screen ones for heat and humidity.

Don’t know if pet stores do this but there is usually a pretty good price difference between males and females. Might be worth looking into...
