Is this a burn?? Or something else??

Hi! I am new to chameleon forums after being heavily disappointed in and leaving r/chameleons. Anyways, hopefully I can get some insight on what this mark is on my chameleons casque? I am worried it is a burn, this picture was taken two days ago. However when I checked on it yesterday and today it seems to be completely gone so i am confused as to what it was/could be. I am going to adjust my lights and setup in case it is a burn. Im not sure what I should do treatment wise

Here are some pics taken yesterday, theres still some black on the casque but I think it looks different than it did two days ago? Any insight is greatly appreciated

I think you are fine. With veilds all the ridge lines of the face/crest will turn funny colors as they get older. They will be grey and sometimes even black.

Thank you for the insight! Thats what i figured too considering the mark is gone as of today. First time cham owner here so I tend to worry about everything!!
