In my opinion, stick to the Herptivite, and don't get the Reptivite, it contains prEformed Vit A, and it is much easier to separately supplement it.Or Should I Get This?
But what about the debate of Herptivite containing Beta carotene and chameleons not being able to convert it into Vit A? I belong to several other Chameleon groups on Fb and everyone says to use Reptivite. I use it also.In my opinion, stick to the Herptivite, and don't get the Reptivite, it contains prEformed Vit A, and it is much easier to separately supplement it.
You just have to be careful, because it is already in there. With liquid, you can "dose" it.But what about the debate of Herptivite containing Beta carotene and chameleons not being able to convert it into Vit A? That is what I am curious about, or not enough dusting.Has anyone that wasnt completely off with supplementation(example ghosting crickets daily with reptivite) ever had a problem with hypervitaminosis?

In another post I was told reptivite once a month for my jackson chameleon. Would doing it this way be better or no?There seems to be some good info out there suggesting chameleons benefit from preformed vitamin A. I would just alternate something like herptivite with reptivite or even vit A liquid(so for example, reptivite 1x/month herptivite 1x/month). I don't know anyone that's had problems doing this.
