Is this cracking normal?

i have looked around the forum and have seen some of the cracking on some chameleons which looks normal. but i noticed that my veiled has black in between the cracks on the lateral side of his ribs.

Anything i should be concerned about?

Yup, looks normal. I kept freaking out about my guy at first until I realized it was just him changing color.

Welcome to the forums. This is a great place to learn about chameleons. Your cham looks absolutely normal to me. A little cutie at that.
