is this "cricket virus" harmful to chameleons?

and wasn't sure if it was addressed but is this a concern with feeding "our" chameleons these crickets? or is it just causing death to the crickets?

I would never feed sick crickets to my chams. I don't buy crickets or any other feeders in pet stores either.

i just read this and became a bit concerned since the "sickies" were apparently coming from suppliers, how reputable i'm not sure...

there's no way i would knowingly feed them if i knew that the crickets were sick... just curious if it has been noted as causing illnesses in the chameleons...
