Is this enough light?

Hi

I was wondering if this was enough sun light for my veiled chameleon, he is outside all day but most of the day is almost like this. Should i get another bulb? i have a basking spot one but i didnt felt i had to buy a UVB one if i could leave my cham outside in the balcony.

please help

Hi There and welcome to the forum.

In the picture, the cage looks rather dim... but it is kind of hard to judge by a small picture.

I think you are right and don't think you need a UV bulb if you are lucky enough to be in a climate where he will be fine outside year 'round.

AS far as weather it is bright enough or not, possibly the shefflera will be the test...

If it starts suffering from lack of light, then that will be your que to put some supplemental light on the cage.
