are cool ranch doritos safe for them to eat? because sometimes when i eat doritos if i dont chew it all they way i feel it poke the inside of my mouth and i was wondering if that might happen to my chameleon when he eats doritos

Those are called "dorito legs" each dorito has 3(when they rub their legs against their wings the dorito bag makes a chirping noise!). You can locate them my finding the dorito's corners, then break off each one of them and feed them your chameleon without any worries..or wait..now the dorito has 6 even sharper edges..I would consult a more knowledgeable dorito expert or try the "Dorito Nacho" if this isn't working. Don't Give Up.

LMFAO OMFG
I totally was believing you just now, that you would recommend doritos
Im so gullible. :D

Well that and the occasional Starburst or bite-size Snicker's Bar. Don't you think they get bored of eating crickets everyday :D

I think the softer foods are a smart idea. If you're looking for a softer corn-based product, I reccomend cheetos.

is this a joke? lol are people really feeding their chams doritos???? loll:confused::confused::confused:

of course it is haha but on a serious note are wild caught moths ok? what about house flies? i really wana see my chameleon catch something in mid air while its flying..... maybe i can just toss crickets in the air like those clay pigeons discs that hunters practice with :D

I feed wild caught moths/butterflys/dragonflys occasionally and have never had any problems. my cham loves eating flying bugs and i love watching her hunt them. wc grasshoppers are pretty good too, a bit more challenge to hunt than crickets. if you feed wild caught insects just make sure you catch them in an area that is free of pesticides. My chameleon also really likes to nibble on pepperettes with me lol.
