is this normal ??? w/pics

can anybody tell me what this is or if this is normal? its some kind of round looking ball on the top of his head. i dont think he had it when we bought him at petsmart but i started to notice it as he grew and that ball looking thing also started to grow as well. i usually shop at my local pet store for stuff for my chams or if i want to buy another cham but they didnt have any at the time so i went to petsmart. i dont think it would matter wher i bought it would it? they told me was a vield so i decided to buy him. my other two chams never had this ball on there heads, this is the first cham ive seen and owned with a ball on there head like this one. heres some pics hopefully somone can help me out with what this could be. thanks

From what ive seen on these forums this definitely doesnt look normal, how long have you had him? To me seems like maybe a birth defect or maybe some kind of infection that can probably be flushed out or fixed with a vet visit but im no expert.

looks like a growth a vet visit sounds good ,if it continues to grow it can be a problem i bet

ive had him for about 4 months, i got him when he was a month old.

Looks like it could be an abcess. If it is it will need to be drained and he will need antibiotics.

I bought my First vieled Chameleon at PET-CO and it ended up getting sick and dieing. Those PET chains shouldn't be allowed to have Chameleons IMO. The chameleons aren't always healthy and they give false knowledge to people and go off of what they've heard. I just have deep anger towards those stores. Everything I bought from the store that they recommended me was wrong.
