Is this Nosy be?

Hi,
I am about to buy a new Panther chameleon - Nosy be. The breeder send me a photo of a male that should be nosy be. The male is still pretty young. I am just not really sure that it is a nosy be. He reminds me more ambilobe. I am breeding ambilobe chams, so I think I know how they looks like when they are juveniles. What do you think?

I think it's a...
Nosy be, Nosy be, Nosy be oh Nosy be, whisper words of wisdom Nosy Be...

And now you have this Beatles classic stuck in your head, you're welcome!(y)

He could be a nosy be, a lot of the wild caught have some red on their head and shoulders, some even have green between their blue bars. These colors have been bred out of the "true blue" nosy be.
Or he could be a cross locale showing mostly blue. I tend to believe the latter.

I would not consider this a Nosy Be. There is something else in his bloodline that isn't full Nosy be as they don't develop those oranges you see. The blue bars with green background is fine and the red in the eyes is fine and even red rain in the body but never any solid red or orange in the body.

Here are two of our WC male breeders. You can see they are not the standard True Blue Nosy be but they are perfect examples of what a wild Caught Nosy Be will look like. Blue / Green bodies with intense yellow cheeks and red accented eyes.

Thank you for replies.

That is what I thought. I will rather search for different baby. Thank you!
