Is this the start of a problem with the tail?

Hi there,

I've recently become the owner of a male Blue Bar Chameleon (Diego) and after reading some literature about health problems I'm worried that my Chameleon may have something wrong with his tail since the tip is much darker than the rest.
I've attached a photo below to try and show you what it looks like. The tail isn't totally black, the underneath of the darker area is light in colouration just like the rest of his tail. He uses the tail fine and appears to have no physical problems with it. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Sophie

It appears to just be normal coloring.

My panthers tail is darker too at the end.

I see no pinching, no dying tissue, and if it curls ok, the tail is most likely just fine,

Did you look at that up close chamimom?
To me it looks pinched the last couple inches.
Or something.
It is also in a very wierd posture- which may be nothing more than the split second the photo was taken- but does the tail curl up and grasp all the way to the tip?
But it definately looks discoloured to me there at the end- but if it moves normally, *maybe* it is normal for that lizard, but I don't think so- looks wrong to me. Wondering if it was pinched in a door or lid...

I mean I don't see a pinch mark, but just looks discoloured and strangish posture the second of that photo makes me wonder if it functioning normally. If it is- I'd lean towards normal for that lizard.

Diego grips fine with his tail and is able to curl it up completely. Here is a picture of his tail curled around an object.
