I thought Jacksons gave live birth (matter of speaking)....

Ha... unless it's midnight where you are, you're an hour (or a few) too early for this April Fools' Day joke....

Why would someone start a thread that is a joke? Isnt that going to do more harm than good..a nd the one pictured is a male nonetheless..

Thats not a good idea for newbies who dont know any better.

April Fools or not.. Its still not nice.. Some people might really think this is legit and get confused..

Jackson chameleons give birth to live young. It can take 5-10 months before the females will start dropping their young. I am not sure how you got eggs from a Jackson.

I enjoyed it... although I found myself editing my original message as I actually, for a millisecond, believed it was only a tasteless joke and was preparing some cranky words for ya...

Then it all dawned on me. Clever...

Cheers!

Damn! Why did you write so fast that it's a joke ;)
I think a lot of people here would start to discuss at what temperatures they had incubated their eggs:rolleyes:

Well don't jackson babies start in eggs inside the female? I guess you could get eggs by surgery but I don't think they would be good, and I am sure if you get them from a Male they would not be good!!!

Happy April fools

Ovoviviparous chams don't produce calcified eggs, so no, you could not remove them by surgery and incubate them...

Oh come on, it was funny! You just fell for it a little. :)

There's probably not too much to worry about anyway. No one will EVER have issues with egg incubation if they keep Jackson's. And if their female has long horns like that, even better because males are way easier than females, IMO anyway.
