I have just bought a young male jackson a few days ago and his appetite doesn't seem to be that great. This is the first jackson I have owned & I'm comparing his appetite to me veileds who is about 5-6 moths old. My veiled eats about 8-10 crickets a day plus worms. I'm guessing that the jackson is about the same age & he's not eating even half as much & he won't touch a meal worm or a wax worm. Do you think he might still be adjusting to his new home & I should give him a few more days before worring too much? I've only had him about 5 days.

meal wormss and wax worms are not great regular food for chameleons. they are sometimes used as snacks....silkworms, roaches and crickets are the best staples.. from my understanding and what i have seen veileds are much larger than jacksons and may have larger appetite mine ate more though. is yours a male or female and please answer questions in asking for help section and those more eperienced than i will be better able to help
