Jumping chameleon

I have a Jackson's chameleon is it normal for them to jump because I just watched him leap from one branch to another in his cage?

Yes, some of them do jump.

I never saw Smeagie jump, but when a baby, he was notorius for the "death drop"

Every time the giant monster (me) came, he would simply drop and run!

The person who titled this youtube video is a dumb a$$ because it's isn't extremely rare to see a jacksons chameleon jump. In fact in the wild they do it all the time, as a tactic.

That was fun to watch, but you have to feel bad for the Jacksons that he was made to jump over and over again, has to be a little hard on the body after that many jumps.

I have seen tht video before and I am very glad that Monty (my Jax) doesn't jump! I suppose wc ones would be more prone to this if they find us to be a threat.

Rex jumps. He will jump off his tree on to the grass, he loves to freak me out.

I've had my veiled jump before. I was holding him while cleaning his cage and I put him on myhead for a quick second and he jumped from my head into his cage. Guess he thought his cage was clean enough...

And the Jackson's I used to own used to do that all. the. effin. time. Scared the crap outta me every time. I'd open the cage and it was like BAM! THERE'S A CRICKET!

I have young ambilobe pAnther and hes wild! he jumps from branches and limbs and runs pretty fast. hes about 4- 5 months old.
