I put a towel around the base to catch poop, I'm misting the old fashioned way with a spray bottle, and he's getting UV and heat from the window. I live in Texas, it can get pretty darn hot by the windows here.

But for the record UVB does not go through glass... So unless that window is always open he is not getting what he needs and will require a UVB light set up for him

Nice!! you finally made the leap! haha I bet he loves it! oh btw uvb doesn't pass through the glass so you'll want to put a uvb light above the range. other than that it looks awesome.
Fake trees are super expensive, unless you look on craigslist
We just got a 6.5' ficus for 20$!!

Don't you guys have an AC Moore or Michael's craft store? If you get one of the 50% off coupons that they offer every few weeks, the fake trees are really cheap. At least here in PA they are.

Nito is about 17 months old.
And as for the UVB, we were only hanging out in the game room for about 45 minutes during gossip girl.. He went back to his normal cage after and was just as happy.
Ps- I'm in the process of building a HUGE outdoor enclosure.
