I'm planning my summer vacation and by then my panthers will be 6 months. Can my friend feed them every other day? are they ok outside when night temps are in mid 50s.. i live in southern california

I'm no expert by any means but I don't think leaving them outside in 50s would be good. How long is the vacation? I went on a 5 day vacation where my panther was only fed once or twice while I was gone. It's not ideal but they can go without food like that but water is a different story you cant deprive them of water like that.

I'll be leaving Sunday afternoon and coming back Wednesday night. I have a mist king. Do you think I can feed heavily the days b4 and not feed them Monday to wed?

I would have your friend come by to feed them every other day if possible but feeding them right before and right after will probably be fine as long as they are getting enough water from the mistking.
The temp drop should be fine. What's your outdoor setup like? Do they have plenty of coverage to hide from the heat at the height of the day? I've heard stories of people's chameleons frying in the sun on a hot day. I'd be more concerned about that than the night drop. I live in SoCal also. What month is your trip in?

First of june. I plan on putting them under my porch in the backyard. The reasoning being is during summer temps there is cooler than in the room they are right now.

Ok, as long as they won't have sun beating down on them at any point it should be fine. I would keep an eye on the location though and make sure that the angle of the sun won't be able to hit them too strongly. As long as you can maintain proper temperature gradients outdoors you should be fine. I'm not worried about that night drop at all. In SoCal in June it should not get too cold.
Make sure you acclimate them to the new outdoor location before you leave in June.

also make sure the enclosure is safe enough from night predators, a simple screen cage can be torn open.
