Karmander the Sleepiest

Hello all! This is Karmander (karma for short) taking a nice little rest on my thumb as I turned off the lights. This is my first Cham and am definitely open to any advice and tips anybody has to ever offer. I've had this little guy for just about a month now and he's wonderful as a pet and teacher. He enjoys a mainly cricket diet, with a couple wax worms I hand feed him every couple of days. I purchased and hopefully saved him from a Petco. He was enclosed in a tiny tiny glass box with two other chams that were half his size. A store employee says "they all came in and were the same size (3-5mos?) but 'Karmander' grew a lot faster than the other two." As I had researched prior to my arrival, I noticed the ribs on the chams and wasn't too sure what to think after reading that this wasn't a good nutritional sign. I chose Karmander as being the most active as I watched the three chams. I can't wait for him to grow nice and big and love being a big ol beautiful Cham. My current set up is in fact the ZooMed reptibreeze Cham kit. Since then I've spent $200+ on the guts of the cage. The kit is really misleading. The included fake plant and thermometer are held by suction cups, which is no use to the aluminum cage. Anyways, here we are now amongst fellow chameleon enthusiasts and I'm glad to see such a helpful community and to be apart of it as well. Thanks for looking!

Good luck on your cham!
Advise and tips are hard to give with little to go on.

Best tip is learn tje caresheet since it has everything you should know:

At this age you should still feed daily, food should be supplemented.

The importance of misting/humidity is also often underestimated.

and proper lighting is also of great importance.

Thank you very much I will definitely need it as a little luck and skill set goes a long way.
These links are wonderful. I get a lot of information from a chameleon handbook I like to read through from time to time and also the encounters people have had throughout this forum site, but these cover an even broader spectrum of what my veiled needs and might be acceptable to and I thank you for that a lot. I'm hoping at the age he is at, he looks and feels healthy so far. He eats daily. Also watching out for over-supplementing him and making sure the the hydrating factor is at its best. I will definitely dip into humidity and the best kind of auto-misting products that are available. I'm having a pretty hard time finding a store to purchase a non-toxic plants these fellas like in their environment. I've checked Home Depot but size and availability are always defining when trying to make a selection. I'd also like to say I'm very weary about buying any type of plant from a store like this and then using pesticides. Next step is finding where can I buy a organic clean plant online that will gaurentee a fresh healthy plant(I know how these package delivery systems work and handle boxes).
