So my grandma's moving to Florida and we got to meet her neighbor's, the house is a duplex villa thing, so it's the people on the other side. Im just going to call these people Kim and Jim. We met up for brunch and Kim radomly says, "I don't know how y'all feel about jellyfish, but..." My grandma looks over at me and knows that if Kim continues it will be a mistake. "I go out and catch jellyfish to bury in the sand." I know I have to be giving her the, you must be an idiot, look. Oh, but she continues, "and then this 15 year old girl walks up and starts telling me how cruel it is, to go out in their territory, catch them, and kill them. I'm just telling this girl to shut up and she just keeps telling me how messed up it is. And later that little brat went swimming and guess what? She got stung by a jellyfish! I bet she changed her mind." At this point I excuse myself, go into the bathroom and start telling my sister about how stupid this woman must be!
So my question is do you think it's messed up to go catch jellyfish just for the purpose of knowing that their dieing in a hole or is it fine because as other people told me "they hurt people so it's ok." I also want to add that she said she likes going into deep water so she could get the big ones.
