Another beautiful day in California, so I thought I'd my little buddie out to get some sun. I kinda got worried because he turned dark, but the I remembered that they turn dark when they take in the suns rays. Is this true? Thanks for looking :D

I'm not an expert at sexing Chams so maybe someone with more exp can confirm my thoughts on that being a female.

Yeah in not completely sure of king Louis being a male, but I've had 2 other people say that he is a male.

In the second pic I say you have a female there. No sign of hemipenal bulge. Also, I agree with Jann and "she" looks on the thin side. What does she eat and how much food do you offer?

I've been feeding "her" crickets and I sometimes gutload them. And she usually puts down around 10 of them until she doesn't want anymore.

And king Louis really doesn't want anything to do with any type of worm. Also, "it's" only around 5 months old, is the thickness in the tail visible at this time?

yes pretty much so. Usually there is like a dip and a bulge. I just don't see it, that is why I am thinking female.. What color is your chameleon when not out in the sun?. It looks brown in your avatar also. Do you have any other pics taken inside? although the cham in your avatar has a pretty pronounced lateral line like a lot of the males, so I don't know!!

I saw the thread. I would have said male too in those pics!! That one pic you posted on this thread I would swear female!! The two guys who told you male... they know their stuff, soI would just go with that then. Sorry did not mean to start trouble!!!

No problem at all, it's great to get opinions from anybody. I'll make sure to get him eating a lot :D
