Large Screen Enclosures

Hello,

Lately my 9 month old veiled, Nasir, has been looking quite cramped in his 24x24x36 enclosure which was custom built by my father and I. I've decided that I'd like to get him a new and larger enclosure and I was considering either an LLL 2x2x4 or a DIY cages 2x2x4. They both seem like solid choices and from what I've read here a lot of you members use them. I'm going to use his current 2x2x3 as an outdoor cage during the coming summer as an outdoor enclosure!

Here's my question: Does anyone make a cage larger than 2x2x4? If I end up purchasing a new extra large enclosure, it will really only be adding an additional one vertical foot. It would be a great improvement and I'm sure a lot more functional than my current set up, but i'd still like my cham to have something larger! I've seen reptibreeze makes a large screen enclosure but they really aren't the quality I'm looking for and aren't very sturdy. Let me know if any of you know of anything nice and roomy! :D

wow i fear the day my veiled looks cramped in his 2x2x4,
but i think it is coming. i have either seen a 2x2x6 or an extension 2x2x2
for your current cage. have you guys thought of a diy project for a 3 ft ext?

If you really want a larger enclosure, ask your cool dad to make you another custom enclosure. He might like the opportunity.

As stated above, you can get the 2 ft extension from LLL. It'll only fit their 2x2x4. Orrrrr you can build another custome one... :D

The Apogee Reptarium is 29X29X72". I have one and I like it alot but it is a screen fabric with a zipper though just to let you know.

I sure wish there was someone who made a 30x30x60, I'd order one tonight! I've already considered making a new homemade enclosure with my father, thing is, it's still quite cold up here and right now we have both cars taking up all the work space (garage). In the summer I think I'll make him the final enclosure which will probably be around the dimensions I mentioned (hey that rhym.....)...

I've seen the reptarium enclosures and have used them before. I despise the zipper and plastic frame! I couldn't help but create an earthquake for my poor cham everytime I opened the cage; it also seemed terribly dark from the thick mesh. Given, this was using the very small reptarium and I'm sure the large one is a lot more sturdy. The space I'm working with is also a bit limited, so 70" would be too tall for me to properly place the lighting.

I plan on ordering the 2x2x4 and I'll set that up indefinitely until I get around to doing a custom one with my pops. Which would you folks recommend? If I do choose the LLL reptile cage, I would have no intentions of putting the mentioned extension....lol.. But really, which is the better cage?
