Ahhh that was a great read that morning...I deserve this.![]()
I didn't realize how expensive they'd be, they must be good for em, eh?
Gotcha, lil poop crew eh, lol. Thanks. Stuff is new to me, never seen or heard of lil bastards till came on here, major helpfulIsopods are generally used in bioactive enclosures as part of the "clean up crew", though they're fine as occasional snacks! Very high in calcium.
All natural, eh. I like that. Maybe when hes a lil older Ill try em.I feed isopods in place of dusting with calcium sometimes. I'll pull a few big ones out and put them on the screen. Chams enjoy the treat.

Lol, I'll take that as a compliment! Compared to the people that focus on inverts though, I know very little. I'm a loser for not even knowing half the scientific names![]()
I put the scientific names as well as the regular names on my cultures. This way I may eventually learn them lol
lmao, ya I can absolutely understand that. Im looking into converting into bioactive, already have all live plants. nice to know he can eat em too. do they climb? or do they just hang out on subtrate, eh?I did this for my isopods, need to label the rest still. I feel like the way I pronounce the scientific name for everything is wayyy off lol

Gotcha, that makes sense why I wasnt able to see them in the containers, they where in the subtrate, eh. Well thats good news, lol. Thanks for all the info. Like I said, this is all new to me.They can't climb smooth surfaces and they mostly stay in the substrate under stuff. They tend to venture out at night though.
Lol I have a reptile expo next month. I’m looking for some potato bugs and springtails to start breeding for my chameleon bio set upsWe call em potato bugs round here!
