Had a few different threads this week on nails, how to wear them down via proper viv set up, and if trimming them is acceptable. Reminded me a while back a friend and I were discussing how much they can differ from species to species, specifically between veilds(female in my case) and Nosy Be(male). The difference is staggering. I’m sure this is just another product of evolutionary divergence so I’d be curious to see other members toe shots to see how consistent these differences are as well as see where other species land on the spectrum!
Momma, 3yo female veild currently receptive:
Massive dinosaur like claws
Roux- 1yo Male Nosy Be. He wasn’t happy about waking up to a face full of phone at 5am, giving me his classic stink eye. He’s got stubby little claws and feet, like in the new Godzilla movie he’s trying his best to emulate!
