Yes, most people learn on acrylic, cheaper and easier, more forgiving. Epoxy can humble you real quick but it has way more depth than acrylic, and epoxy simply produces more of a visually stimulating final product.


Check this out, finished for a custom last night, epoxy just has way more potential than acrylic ever could.
