Lethargic Panther Cham

I’ll have to give them a try. Once in a blue moon he will eat Hornworms. It’s not worth buying them though because he’ll only eat every few days. Those that he doesn’t eat get to big. I’ll try to hold out for another hunger strike. I just wish that I new what to do about his back. I’ll try elevating his lighting.

your Cham will be your best teacher: try raising his basking bulb, wait two days. If he spends all his time on the cage roof under the basking bulb, he’s too cold. Lower it an inch and repeat.

The basking bulb is directly on the screen, right? It's possible that even with the branch placed much lower, Arthur's finding a way to get too close anyway. I'd advise raising the basking fixture off the screen, checking your temperatures again, and then raising your basking branch as needed. Using a thermometer probe placed 2" above the backing branch is more accurate than taking the surface temperature of your branch with a gun, though using both methods is wise.

I ended up getting a dimmer and dimmable bulb for my girl Lily, so that she has more usable room in her cage while also being unable to burn herself on anything even if she was directly below the bulb/on the screen.

Please fill this ans let me know how you mesure your temperature and what is your ambiant temperature at home night and day

My best bet is : its too cold at your home during the night and during the day he try. to reach basking as far as he can and stay as long possible.. even if it burn him in a focal spot but with no success because he is still cold

go on amazon and buy an infrared temp gun ;) you might be able to gun the belly and to know your chameleon temperatures ;)

so fill the form!

other option : he is sick, and try to grab some heat to help with healing so fill the form, help us to hep you ;)

Your bulb might be something like zoomed basking spot with bearded dragon/for desert animal so it create a focal spot
