life in cold blood

I got this DVD for Xmas from my amazon wishlist. Last night I watched the Lizard part. It's wonderful! You get to see David Attenborough gently touching a panther cahm in it's own environment, a female of another species (I forget the name) giving birth to live babies in a tree after fending off a male suitor, and an enormous pair of Mellers in combat. It was all rather wonderful, if too short.
Anyway, just wanted to share.:)

I love that series! I bought it before I owned chameleons and recently watched it again just to see what chameleons the show featured. I loooove David Attenborough and own a huge DVD set of some of his works. For Christmas I got "Africa," which he narrates. :)

I love that DVD and David Attenborough. You can feel the love and kindness in his voice when he talks about the animals.

I know, I love that guy :)
He even talks in a quiet, soft voice, as if to avoid stressing any animals.
The part where the guide shows him his first pygmy cham is great, he
gets soooo excited :D
You cant help but love the sound of his voice.

I have the DVD, maybe I will give it a spin this evening while I lay in bed
with my dinner :)
I do wish the cham part were longer, esp since you can tell how much he
loves the species.
Wouldnt it be great if he could do a special program just for all the
chams on earth?!
