Light Fixture Question!

i apologize if this is a dumb question but i just want to clarify before i purchase a fixture..

i can use a fluorescent light fixture that was previously used for a fish tank to put a UVB bulb in right?

as far as I know yes, just as long as the plastic shield is removed.

okay thanks for the replies! i didnt see an issue with it either, being that in the caresheets it says fluorescent UVB bulbs, but i just wanted to ask! dont want to get something that doesnt work so any feedback is always appreciated

exactly! but if the fixture will work for a uvb bulb its a great deal it works really well, looks to be about 24 inches but i have yet to find out the exact length

I have used fish tank starter systems for my uv bulbs and they work fine.

Just make sure you use the correct wattage for the controller and it will be fine.
