Lighting/Heating Cycle

I currently turn the light on at around 8am, and off at around 10pm...
Would you recommend doing a simple 12 hour cycle - 8am-8pm

Just thought it might help if i had a set time to go by

I use the 12 hour 8am to 8pm cycle.... but the chams tend to go to their bedtime spot before 8pm.
