Pet shop has given me a 100watt basking light which I think is much too strong for my viv (viv exotic chameleon viv). I have been monitoring the temp and the basking temp is 90 lower temp is 71. Humidity is 58%. There is no chameleon yet as I want to make sure everything is right before I bring my veiled Cham home.. He is 3 1/2 months and cheeky as can be.. Oh two UVB bulbs o.5 and 0.2

you could put an inline dimmer on the basking light to help adjust to you desired basking temp.

Do you think I should get a lower watt bulb? The cooler end temp is fine just concerned on how hot the basking temp is..
