Should both uvb and basking be on only 12 hours? Or should the basking bulb stay on 24/7? Or should both be shut off at night?

Both should be off at night. Both on for 12 hours a day.

Basking Bulb and UVB on at the same time. 12hours on and 12hours off. You need a day and night cycle for your chameleon to rest and sleep. They also need a temperature drop at night in order to function normally.

For the day light basking bulb, does it matter if it's a blue bulb or while bulb? First day time light i got in a combo kit that had UVB and blue day light but was only 60w and I needed a 100w so I got the national geo daylight bulb. will that still work for my veiled Chameleon?
