hello room, was just wondering what type of night light should I get my new Cham I purchased a 100 watt nocturnal moonlight bulb to simulate moonlight any thoughts.

You would be better off returning it. It’s recomended to have complete darkness at night for them. If you need heat, try a ceramic heat bulb.

Your chameleon will not be active at night, so simulating moonlight is pointless. If the light is too bright it may prevent him from sleeping which is not a good thing. Chameleons have full color vision, so visible light at night will disturb them needlessly. You will not need any heating for his cage at night unless your room will be colder than 55 F. They require a drop in temperature from day to night of at least 10 degrees.
