look at your local hardware store for a ficus. They are usually pretty cheap. They do usually have pesticides, but all you have to do is wash it with soapy water, rinse it off good, and repot it with new soil that is organic and without the little white things. (not sure what the stuff is called so I will just call it a thing ) When I first got into chameleons I seriously paid 40 dollars for a 3 1/2 foot ficus at an "organic" green house. The other day I picked up a ficus at meijer for 10 bucks, just cleaned it up real good, and repotted it and it hasn't caused any problems!! Good luck with finding one!
just get some plants from walmart. They are always cheap. Also pick up a bag of super soil to repot it with. Make sure it is only topsoil and not fertilizer. Then wash your plant down with soap and water. I bought a 4 foot ficus for $15 there.
