I know this isn't much and maybe someday Ophelia will have a true free-range area, but for now she gets to hang out here for an hour or so almost every day.
Sometimes, early morning, this patch is in full sun then shades more as the day wears down. I put her on a potted Camilia which is always in full sun, and when she is done, she climbs down and walks 2 feet on the brick to this patch if Star Jasmin I planted for her under my kitchen window.
A lot of the time, I dust her crickets or dubias and release them for her to hunt. She seems to really enjoy it here. I sit with her and make sure the feeders behave! She snatches an occasional fly. She also eats a few of the Jasmine flowers and a leaf or two.
I see the best colors on my green-girl when she hangs out here... gorgeous patterns, bright yellows and lime greens... even some blues and teals.
