Live plant questions

Setting up my first enclosure and I had some live plant questions. Im using a reptibreeze XL with an umbrella tree ( about 18" high) and a Pothos ( about the same). The Pothos has some 2-3 foot vines and I was wondering if anyone secures there long Pothos vines to the upper parts of the tank and for more climbing options. Were also planning on natural sticks for climbing and basking along with reptivines. Whats everyones favorite way to secure them to the mesh?

I have my pothos placed at the bottom of my enclosure, I wrap the longer parts around the upper perching branches...

I use neodium magnets to attach my branches.

I used to glue a magnet to the end of the branch, then use a magnet on the outside as well. I recently changed it up a little, now I put a screw in the end of the branch and use the magnet on the outside only. Another member does it this way and it saved me lots of magnets.

^^ Smart thinkin with the screw in the end of the branch. I see lots of people who use magnets and probably waste a bunch using one on both sides. The screw saves you at least one magnet on each end of the branch. Every magnet saved, means more feeders you can now afford for your chameleon!

I like to wrap my longer vines around some of the branches but never use them AS branches. they are a little flimsy. Pothos is my favorite terrarium plant, but the vines themselves cannot hold a lot of weight.

I have my pothos hanging with the vines drooping and wrapping around the sticks. I used standard thumb tacks on each end to attach them. Just cut the branch to the correct size, then push tack from the outside. The door makes pushing tacks and trying to hold the branch at the same to difficult.

Never a bother. Unfortunately, I took the plant out, but you can see the pot hanging in the following photos. If I was to do it again, I'm going to use this pot and place the plant & new pot into this one, to allow me to remove it, if I need to.
The first shows it from the front. The second shows from the top, I bought a piece of aluminum angle and cut it the length of the cage and riveted two pieces on the sides to set it on top of the cage. I used #50 fishing string and looped it around this bar and hung the pot. The vines on this pothos were a few feet long, so I just took them and lightly twisted them around different sticks. What you see in the photos are the fake plants wire tied to the branches.The third one shows from the side. Hope this helps.
