lllreptile ???

Don't forget live bugs and calcium/vitiman supps [get them with cage and save a little over pet shops]. Even though the cage is pretty cheap cham onership is costly, especially if vet care is needed. Their so cool it's worth it though.

got most valcium from reptisafe but i didnt know which vitamin to buy her

Not to sure what vits a Jacksom cham requires, but theres many Jacksons experts on here maybe start a thread on it if nobody posts here [or search for one already there].

Ficus seems to be the plant of choise for the "foundation" plant, if room a pathos can provide a vine to climb on, plus get lots of fake vines and sticks to climb on and hide behind.

Eliza is referring to the black mesh, most of us like the screen one a lot better. I can't see into the mesh cages very well.

oh isee yeah and its it bad to have alot of water because my lil dripper gives a lot of water and i see little puddles now but i can stop te lil dripper but i need to mist her what should i do?

With my reptarium instead of the flimsy tray thing I just cut a piece of acrylic plastic to size and drilled some holes in it so it is similar to the metal cages. The reptariums hold humidity a little better and make nervous chameleon more comfortable. The only thing I dont like is the zipper as it can make the whole cage shake a little when you open them. One of mine has been in use for 11 years and is still going strong! Just be gentle with them and they will last a long time! Also, they can block UVB more than the metal cages, so you may or may not need a higher UVB bulb than the 5.0.

As for supplements for a jacksons, you want a plain calcium without D3 to use 3-4 times a week, a calcium with D3 for use once every 3-6 weeks (depends on the brand,) and a multivitamin to use once every 4-6 weeks or so.

where can i find without d3 petsmart doesnt have it

If you have a reptile store nearby, they will probably have it. If not, it's available online.

In a pinch, there are a few DIY options:

1) You can buy a cuttle bone. They are sold for birds (I can buy them at the grocery store, that's how common they are). Grind that as fine as possible in a food processor, spice grinder or coffee grinder. That's almost pure calcium without D3.

2) Unflavored TUMS are a great source of easily digested calcium. Again, grind, grind, grind.

3) Eggshells! Clean thoroughly. I suspect you want to remove the membrane, then grind!

In my opinion this is way over supplementing a Jackson. Rule of thumb, for a jackson, less is more. If you over do it with a jackson you are in trouble. this is a good care sheet to follow:

In what way? The D3? I said 3-6 weeks because it depends on the brand. Using repcal (400,000 IU per kg) would be way too often for 3 weeks, but with minerall it should be fine because of the much, much smaller amount. In fact, using the all in one calcium 4 times a month, as is recommended in that care sheet, is giving about 10 times as much (approx 40,000 IU per kg) D3 as if you used minerall the same amount (approx 4,400 IU per kg.)

I dont really know what you mean about the supplements?
