All I can suggest is do the required research. Once you do that it’s up to you to make the decision. We can’t dictate you’re moral opinions, I personally know very little about LLL and can not say.
i wouldnt purchase from LLL, i would look into another breeder. they have good deals when it comes to lights, and vines, but when it comes to there animals they are not as good. i got my first veiled from them because it was cheap. died after a month, so you get what you pay for i guess. when i contacted them about the dead, they did really care. just pritty much that sucks, it what they told me. not in those words, but close to it. i think flchams.com sells those types of chameleons and heard lots of good thinks about their chameleons. i would strongley recommend not to buy from them. good luck tho
It sounds like many first time buyers buy from LLL but end up having issues with the animal, I hear from more experienced keepers that they have no issues from them but the newbies seem to have them all...its an up in the air debate but I would personally go private the first time and then if you want branch out.
I personally have purchased only through the Kammers and now have a real nice 6 month old ambilobe panther. They also sell Veilds so you may want to check them out. I see a few others around such as flchams and others that I wouldn't mind dealing with either in the future...when it comes to supplies I have never heard of issues with LLL and infact I am awaiting on the arrival of a supplies from them so I can setup my new cham cage for the Nosy Be I purchased from The Kammers. I was looking for a larger male but ended up just dealing with the 3 month old and growing him up.
