long drive!!!!

im going on a 3 hour car trip and i need to bring my little reptar along...whats the best way to transport one of these guys for that amount of time?

in a dark box he will sleep stress free

im not sure if its a good idea, but maybe put something moist in with him, to keep cool levels.
