Long-Term Captive Gracilior

I've had this boy since January. He looked so rough I haven't posted pictures of him. He arrived with the February, 2015, import and was sent to a quad breeder as a quad. He soon made it known that he was a gracilior and I was lucky enough to be able to acquire him. He was a little rough when he arrived. I think the move to me was the proverbial last straw and just put him over the top. It seemed that he decided to up and die on me. Not on my watch! I finally have him starting to look good. He still looks a little rough, but at least he has a belly on him and isn't tucked up like a greyhound anymore. I finally have him healthy enough that I can start to deal with his parasites. It will be interesting to see how he develops over the next six months. They don't show their beautiful colors unless they are healthy and he's only starting to feel good. Check out his spectacular nails--now that's bling!

I can't believe that is the same animal. He looks fantastic! I honestly wasn't sure if he was going to make.

Good thing he went to the gracilior queen.

I forgot you saw him a month ago. He just turned the corner. He looks great, doesn't he?

I wonder if my moving his cage had anything to do with it. Something to think about. I think he will be really beautiful in six months.

I could tell a huge difference in the tone of your animals just the few minutes I got to see them this trip. The move was a must and a great choice.
