Looking for 24x24 stand/cabinet

So I ordered the 24x24x48 LLL cage a month ago. I've yet to put it together yet, since I need a stand/table/cabinet to sit it on.

I'd prefer one with a base that measures 24x24. Anybody know where I can get something like this? I'd also like one that has a door, so I can hide the drainage bucket.

If you built your own, can I see pics??

Thanks a bunch.

This is an exmaple of what I'm looking for...(tho doesn't need to be 2 doors). Would rather not pay that much tho.

I had this same problem when I bought my first cage. I never did find anything that was the right size, looked decent, and didn't cost a fortune. I ended up buying the water tray for the cage and sitting it on a 18" square table. That worked fine, and the overhang allowed me to install a drain in the water tray without modifying the table.

I would also recommend getting LLL's water tray that matches your enclosure from them. Especially is you are going to do some custom work / cabinet to it.

Here are some stuck threads that lots have shown things they done for enclosures and drip systems.

Thanks for the replies. I actually did get the water try, even tho I didn't know exactly how that works. So, how does it work?

Doesn't the cage just sit right on top of it? If you wanna empty the try, wouldn't you have to lift the screen cage off it? I don't really understand what the point of it is.

If you are at all handy, you can make something that is a whole lot nicer and more cost effective. Plus if you are anything like me, you will have a freagin blast building it. I find projects like this very rewarding.

I wish I were handy and had the tools to build my own.

When my husband an I bought our first cage, we wanted, but couldn't find a laundry sink. They're not very appealing, but they're the perfect square size, and provide a perfect drainage system.

You might be able to go to a used building material store - like Habitat for Humanity stores, to find yourself an actual kitchen cabinet. Shouldn't be too hard to find one that's 24" deep.

This is where the fun part comes into play. If you don't have the tools to do it, ask a friend to help. I used a 6.95 universal replacement sink drain kit, and some assorted compression fit drain parts and pieces from Home Depot. I drilled an appropriate size hole in my pan w/ a hole saw, and then ran the tubes into a bucket. You could do the exact same thing w/ your LLL pan.
