Looking for tips to improve my chameleons life

Miko is a 9 month old panther chameleon, He eats super worms and crickets mostly and occasionally I will give him wax and horn worms. The supplements he takes are calcium without d3 and multivitamins with d3. Also he has a 16x16x30 inch cage I have order a 2x2x4 foot cage that is coming and the basking temperature is 82.3 degrees Fahrenheit and the rest of the cage is about 72.3 degrees with a tropical bulb and a compact uvb bulb and the humidity is 40%.the main thing I’m worried about is that when he is in his cage his colors are dull but when I take him out to get some sun his colors just jump out, why?

• Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
• Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
• Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
• Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
