Looking to Finally dive into Chameleons in Houston Tx!!!

First Post!!!

I've been a long time reptile/ saltwater aquarium fan and cared for a Blue Tongued Skink and fish tanks for many years now and I think its time to welcome a Panther Chameleon into my Home!!!

Any ideas on where I could find a blue Panther in the Houston Texas area?

Private breeder or stores you guys recommend?

I used the search but the last thread about it was updated in 2007 and the places recommended were closed! :(

There are a few forum members that breed , and they reside in Texas (not sure how close to you).

Look into "Texas Range"r and "Texas Panther Man"

But i don't remember them having any Nosy Be Panther. But they both house and breed Nosy Faly and Ambanjas (the Ambanjas are a green-blue body with red-burgandy bars. The Faly is a Blue/White body with "red rain" speckling)

Welcome to the board. There are many breeders on here that you will find. There is also a mountain of information regarding everything you could ever want to know regarding chams. Good luck :cool:
 
on the top right corner of the forum are site sponsors, definatley a great place to start, otherwise there are aslo the fauna classifieds, but you will need to sift through all to find texas members selling, or just bear down and have one shipped like most do..

and blue?? like blue barred ambilobes?? or like previously said "nosy be"??? there are alot of different color variations with panther chams, check them all out before you settle for one color..lol:D

Great now i'm stuck at work thinking about everything I want to do for a cham!

("cham" see learning already)

haha ohh get used to that..once you get one too, as soon as you go home first thing you will go check is your cham!! it turns into an obsession!!:D

I great recommend them. I've been talking to Texas Ranger and he's been very helpful. He has babies available right now, and his older chams are amazing so the babies should be also. Good price for nosy falys too. I'm hopefully getting acham baby from him by the end of this year
 
you're lucky you're in texas...texas ranger and texas panther man have ambanjas and falys available. they look awesome. i'd get one but i'm in rehab for my cham addiction. trying not to relapse...
