My chameleon was out of his cage for at least 6+ hours I believe he got out through a hole I made in his cage to hold a plant. I thankfully found him after 30 plus minutes of tearing my room to pieces. He behind my mirror hiding under a spare TV he was cold and had his hand up in the defensive position. I put him in his cage and he’s been warming up he’s usually asleep by 8 and it’s currently 11 I’m going to turn his lights off soon just wanted him to heat up a little. Will the change
In light tonight cause any problems

Nope, the change in lights won't cause any problems. No need for him to warm up though. You can turn the lights out now and he will be perfectly fine. Glad you found him unharmed .

I figured he'd be on the cord of the tv set. Thats where i always find them, or up a lamp, or behind the toilet for some reason...

Found the fat tailed gecko under the water heater, that was interesting.
