Low cost suplemental feeding ideas?

As we all know feeders cost, also take a lot of work now that many of us are getting into warmer weather what do people do to perhaps offer more variety or supplemental feeding options?

I was thinking of collecting native pill bugs/wood lice/ isopods..
Collecting or setting up a FF culture and let the darn pests come and lay eggs to hatch out so I can feed..

House flys.. I never specifically tried to feed them but when free ranging my vield LOVES to pick them off..

Hornworm eggs off the veggie garden if I can find them...

Perhaps using one of the many insect traps on the market to collect wild moth species??

What do others do?

Or do they nowadays?

I'd be careful about outdoor feeders as they often carry parasites that can be passed off to your cham. Just a word of caution...

Collecting isopods is a great idea. I started out with 10 and now I have a ton of babies that are getting big. Someone suggested on here (forgot who it was) to find an isopod that is pregnant and when it has babies, throw the mother out and keep the babies.

You could also try breeding super worms. I paid about $15 shipped for 500 small ones (they didn't take too long to get big) and I'm now in the process of turning them into beetles. I did this with mealworms (only 5 beetles total) and I now have 100+ babies growing. I'm hoping super worms will be just as easy.
